Lab Information

The hands-on online labs offered in this course involve accessing equipment through a network terminal session. Students will not have physical access to this equipment. Students will access the equipment through Sun's Remote Lab Data Center (RLDC).

Who Can Benefit

Students who can benefit from this course are experienced Solaris 8 and Solaris 9 Systems Adminstrators who need to understand the essential differences in Solaris 10. Systems Administrators holding valid Solaris 8 or Solaris 9 Sun Certified Solaris Systems Administrator certification can use this course to prepare for the Sun Certified System Administrator for the Solaris 10 Operating System Upgrade Exam (CX-310-203).  

Prerequisites

To succeed fully in this course, students should be certified system administrators on the Solaris 8 or Solaris 9 operating systems.
