PROFILE: HARDWARE INSTRUCTOR
- Typical Education:
- College degree/technical schools or equivilent in computer science or electronics.
- Typical Experience:
- Four or more years teaching hardware classes and two or more years working as a field engineer or software support engineer.
- Typical Certifications:
- Hardware certifications in storage, computer systems and/or networking
- Typical Sun Instructor Certifications:
- Sun Certified to teach multiple servers of varying complexity.
- Typical Skills:
- Understands digital circuitry, computer architecture and storge concepts.
- Typical Operating Systems:
- Solaris Operating System (1.x, 2.x) or VMS/Ultrix or HP/UX, AIX or Linux.
