Instructor Certification Process

PROFILE: HARDWARE INSTRUCTOR

Typical Education:
College degree/technical schools or equivilent in computer science or electronics.

Typical Experience:
Four or more years teaching hardware classes and two or more years working as a field engineer or software support engineer.

Typical Certifications:
Hardware certifications in storage, computer systems and/or networking

Typical Sun Instructor Certifications:
Sun Certified to teach multiple servers of varying complexity.

Typical Skills:
Understands digital circuitry, computer architecture and storge concepts.

Typical Operating Systems:
Solaris Operating System (1.x, 2.x) or VMS/Ultrix or HP/UX, AIX or Linux.
Sun Training U.S.
