Linux System Administration

Important Policies, please review carefully

Please note that all Sun terms and conditions apply to Red Hat Linux purchases. Red Hat exceptions to regular Sun policies are detailed below.

RH-300 or RH-133 Exam Postponement:
Students in an RH-300 class who decide that they are not ready for the RHCE exam on Friday must notify Red Hat Central Enrollment and Sun Educational Service's at (800) 422-8020 no later than Thursday afternoon, 5:30 P.M. MST. No refund is given but the student may reschedule the exam for USD$350. Payment is non-refundable for No-Shows (students who do not attend the exam).

Students in a RH-133 class who decide that they are not ready to take RHCT Exam on Friday must notify Red Hat Central Enrollment and Sun Educational Service's at 800-422-8020 no later than Thursday afternoon, 5:30 P.M. MST. No refund is given but the student may reschedule the exam for USD$150. Payment is non-refundable for no-shows (students who do not attend the exam).

RHCE (RH-302) Exam Only or RHCT (RH-202) Exam Only Postponement:
Fees paid will not be forfeited on reschedules (change to exam, location, or date) made at least 10 business days before the exam begins. A full refund will be issued for exam cancellations or reschedules made at least 10 business days before the exam begins. Payment is non-refundable for cancellations or reschedules made within 10 business days from the exam start date and for No-Shows (students who do not attend exam).

Special Accomodation Request:
Red Hat delivers classroom-based training courses at locations throughout North America and worldwide. Customers with special needs should notify Red Hat of such needs a minimum of two (2) weeks prior to their desired class, by having their medical/rehabilitation professional fill out a Special Accomodations Request (SAR) form.

Students must be registered into a Red Hat course or exam with Sun Educational Services prior to sending the accomodation request to Red Hat. Ask your medical/rehabilitation professional to review this form, complete and sign it, and fax it back to the indicated fax number on the form. Red Hat will review your request and contact you about it.

Right of Dismissal:
In order to maintain a classroom environment that is conducive to learning, Red Hat, Inc. reserves the right to dismiss a participant from any Red Hat training or certification event. A participant who harasses other participant(s) or Instructor(s) or who in Red Hat's sole judgment acts inappropriately or disruptively during class may be dismissed from the class or event and may not return to the premises. In case of such dismissal, Red Hat, Inc.'s liability will be limited to the refunding of any fees paid by participant or participant's organization in respect of the course and Red Hat, Inc. shall not be responsible for any consequential loss or inconvenience arising whatsoever.
