Service levels range from self serve to mission critical through 4 service level - Bronze, Silver, Gold and Platinum.

Sun System Service Plans are priced on a per system per year basis. Contact your local sales office or Sun reseller about the SunSpectrum Instant Upgrade (SIU) Program. You can save significantly when you purchase your system and your Service Plan at the same time. Or to renew your contract, use our Support Contract Renewal Request Form. Applications will be reviewed and approved by Sun independently. Approval by Sun for systems does not constitute approval for Services. Services are available for additional purchase at an additional cost at time you purchase your system. The Sun Try and Buy Program is subject to the Try and Buy Official Rules.

At A Glance

The Bronze Service Plan includes the fundamental components you need to maintain your systems, including replacement parts coverage, telephone and online technical support, Solaris updates, and access to self-help tools and Sun notifications.

The Silver Service Plan provides the basic services you need to manage and resolve technical issues more quickly, including hardware service coverage, telephone and online technical support, Solaris updates, and access to self-help tools and Sun notifications.

The Gold Service Plan equips you with enhanced coverage to help you maintain higher availability. Features include hardware service during extended business hours (with the option to extend to 24/7, four-hour on-site service), 24/7 telephone and online technical support, Solaris releases and updates, access to self-help tools and Sun notifications, and additional specialized services, including SunVIP interoperability support.

The Platinum Service Plan helps you achieve maximum system availability when every minute counts. Designed with advanced tools and processes for your mission-critical systems, this robust level of service integrates all of the optimal features you need, including SunVIP interoperability support, with the highest priority response available exclusively to Platinum customers: 24/7 hardware service coverage and 24/7 telephone and online technical support.
