Directions to the Santa Clara, CA (SCA-21) Usability Lab
Highway 101 - South from San Francisco or North from San Jose:
- Note:
Montague and San Tomas are different names for two parts of the same expressway.
- Take the Montague Expressway / San Tomas Expressway exit off the 101, going east (take the 270 degree right-hand turn cloverleaf after passing under Montague / San Tomas).
- Cross 1 stoplight, start to go over overpass.
- Exit Lafayette St.
- Bear right at end of off-ramp onto Lafayette north.
- Pass under Montague / San Tomas overpass.
- Cross stoplight.
- Turn at 1st right into Sun campus
- Turn right onto Network Circle, follow signs for lobby for Building 21 & 22.
- Park.
Highway 237 - Westbound from Milpitas:
- Take the Great America/Lafayette Street exit.
- Turn right at the signal at the bottom of off-ramp.
- This street curves to the right, back in an eastbound direction. In approx 300 yards, it dead-ends at a signal with Layafette Street. Turn right.
- Continue on Lafayette Street, for a mile or two.
(Resist the temptation to go faster than the posted speed of 40 mph. Police with radar regularly patrol this stretch of road!)
- Go through several stoplights.
- Pass Agnew Road (stoplight).
- Get in left-turn lane at Palm Drive and enter Sun campus
- Turn right onto Network Circle, follow signs for lobby for Building 21 & 22.
- Park.
Highway 237 - Eastbound from Sunnyvale/Mountain View:
- Take the Great America/Lafayette Street exit.
- Turn left at the signal at the bottom of the off-ramp
